A Public Audience Was Held for the Anchipurac Solar Park

03-08-2018

This morning an audience was held at the Anchipurac solar park per EPSE’s request.

The event was open to any person or entity, public or private, interested in the preservation of the natural environment from potential negative effect.

The audience was held within the idea of what is proported in the active environmental law 504-L, article 4, regulatory decree 2067/97.

The solar photovoltaic park will have a generation capacity of 3 MW and aims to use clean technology that is renewable and send it to PITAR.

Electric generation by means of wind, sun and small hydroelectric dams (among other sources) are the most effective means currently employed to fight climate change.

Renewable energy is that which is obtained from natural sources that are virtually impossible to exhaust due to the vast amount of energy they contain—or because they naturally regenerate.

Coming from a policy that aims to radicalize industry to develop local economies and the inter-oceanic region, the Environmental Secretary is working on the completion of the Regional Environmental Technological Industrial Park (PITAR) that will be located at the San Juan Environmental Complex (next to the Environmental Technology Park and Anchipurac Environmental Education Center), in the department of Rivadavia, as created by Law 1451-L, Reglamentary Decree 0011.

This environmental and industrial center will process and industrialize materials recovered from MSW treatment—both organic and inorganic, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, cardboard, glass, special waste (electronics equipment, electronics, tires, broken concrete and others) from the Cuyo and NOA regions. PITAR is a pioneering project in our country and consists of incorporating the value of materials recovered from MSW and from there manufacturing products. The project also ignites an expansion of jobs within our province.
