The Wholesale Electricity Market Administrator (CAMMESA) published a statistical report at the beginning of this year showing information related to the generation of renewables in the Wholesale Electric Market (MEM). It also includes information related to the management of the Renewable Futures Market (MATER) within the framework established in Resolution MEyM 281-E/2017.
Beyond the numbers shown in the report, and in accordance with law 27.191, large-scale users need to consume 8% renewable energy. CAMMESA has received new solicitation for priority of dispatch on March 28th of this year.
In accordance with Disposition SSER N1-2018, and respecting what is laid out in the established timeline, the Dispatch Entity (OED) will assign priority to those projects who have solicited inscription and who are already signed up in the RENIPER.
Before being signed up on April 9th, CAMMESA will inform the projects that reached a tie in the process of dispatch priority due to insufficient transport capacity. In the third trimester of 2018, bidders that came to a tie will have two and a half weeks to prepare the information requested in Resolution MEyM N281/2017 in the Dispatch SSER N1/2018.
The information can then be presented in the CAMMESA offices, located at Av. Eduardo Madero N 942 Piso 15, until 12:00 on Wednesday, April 25th, 2018.
Finally, dispatch priority will not only be settled on May 5th, but also given a 7 (business) day extension for presentation, thereby being received until Monday, May 16th.
