Participants in the Rotary International Youth Exchange Program visited our hydroplants.
This program is for students aged 15-17, with a prime objective being to provide opportunities for young folks to get to know other cultures and develop inter-cultural understanding. During the time of their exchange, students become ambassadors for the culture of their home country; in response to this, EPSE opened its doors to these students understanding that it would support an understanding of our local culture and people. Eight inbound students participated, which had all begun their exchange this past August.
The tour was headed by engineer Alfredo Ibaceta. Once again, a group of young students was impressed by the natural beauty and the engineering surrounding the function and construction of our hydroplants.
